Camoy (Yushima) is based in the US and Kemone is based in the UK. Nevertheless, both have excellent research skills and are able to look into what's available in your home country or city should you need help. Get in touch...
If you ever feel unsafe or are worried that you are in an abusive relationship, get help. Tell someone, preferably a professional. It is better to put your mind at ease and find out that your communication style simply differs from your partner's and a bit of counselling will help you resolve that issue, than to have abuse escalate to the point that you feel completely hopeless.
REMEMBER, no matter what anyone says, you can escape abuse. There are organisations and people out there waiting to help you get your life back.
US
Call 221 from your cell phone: add your zip code and tell them what you need (e.g., food, housing, baby supplied, medical assistance, etc.). Visit their website.
UK
If you find yourself in an emergency, please call 999 for assistance from the police. Otherwise, contact any of the organisations that are found on this link. Most can be contacted by freephone.
Additionally, you can contact Solace Women's Aid. This is highly recommended for women who live in the UK on a visa (e.g., leave to remain based on marriage).
